How do fees work on b Marketplace?
Joining and starting a shop on bMarketplace.ca is free. There are three basic selling fees: a photography fee, a commission fee, and a payment processing fee.
It costs nothing to publish a listing to the marketplace. All listings are permanent or until the item is discontinued or sold out. Once an item sells, there is a 3.5% transaction fee (financial transaction fee) on the sale price (not including shipping costs).
Photography fees are a reasonable $175 flat fee that covers your photo shoot with our professional photography team. We will use the images from the photo shoot in our magazine to guarantee high quality and present you in the most professional light.
Commission fees are negotiated with you up front and are our incentive to make your business success OUR priority. You will receive a services contract that will outline the agreed commission rate, including any additional volume level incentives.
What do I need to do to get started?

How do I get paid?
If you accept payments with PayPal, funds from sales on our platform will be deposited into your PayPal account. We encourage sellers to use a PayPal Business account and not a Personal account, as personal accounts are subject to monthly receiving limits and cannot accept payments from buyers that are funded by a credit card.
Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?
No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. To be verified as a seller you have the choice to use either a credit card or to register via PayPal. You will not incur any charges until you open your shop and publish your listings.
What can I sell on bMarketplace.ca?
We provides a marketplace for small businesses to sell their products and services online, but we also set up meetings, provide qualified leads and other services. We also feature innovations and new products on our platform. We help set up events and special previews of new product launches as well as pre-orders for new offerings. Our goal is to sell anything a small business markets. Our clients range from skilled professionals who offer consulting services to established retailers who are well known in our community.
